William G Brophy

William G Brophy, age 70 of Kenton, OH went to be with the Lord June 5, 2024, at Marion General Hospital. He was born January 29, 1954, to the late Walter Brophy and Eleanor (Finley) Brophy in Hawthorne, CA. William was married to Patricia (Zimmerman) Brophy who survives in Kenton.

William is also survived by daughter Kathy Brophy, son Jeremy Brophy, stepdaughters: Janet Bates and Kay McNamara, stepson Edward Marvin, 4 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 2 sisters, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 grandson.

William was a high school graduate and worked as a hydraulics mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars, doing bodywork as well. William loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He will be missed.
