Wanda Wheeler

Wanda Wheeler, age 91 of Marion, OH passed away April 25, 2026, at the Wyndmoor of Marion nursing home. She was born October 9, 1934, to the late Chaunce and Reba Radar in Detroit, MI. Wanda was married to the late Fred Wheeler.

Wanda is survived by daughters: Pam Mattix (Harry Wigal) Green Camp, OH and Debbie Lambert (Bill) Naples, FL, grandsons: Chad (Michelle) Mattix and Matthew Mattix, great-grandsons: Carter, Collin, and Max Mattix, as well as many nieces, nephews and special longtime friend Wendi Williams Marion, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Ken Bish, second husband Fred Wheeler, and sister Becky Babb.

Wanda graduated Green Camp high school then worked as a farmer and had a working career at Tecumseh Products, Natures Plant Food and Fairfield Engineering. She enjoyed antiquing and attending auctions. Her and Fred were members of the Elks and Moose Lodge. Wanda enjoyed flying with Fred in their single-engine Mooney airplane to different destinations for dinner and site seeing. She also liked making birthday cakes for her family and friends.

The family would like to thank Wyndmoor of Marion, Gentiva Hospice and Tranquility Hospice for her excellent care. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice and/or Alzheimer's Association.
