Tyler David Tanney

Tyler David Tanney was born September 25, 1984 in Marion, Ohio. He passed away at home on September 27, 2026 in Cardington, Ohio.

Tyler is survived by parents Terri Young and Mike Brown of Florida, fiancée Candianne Neff, daughters: Avadah, Alanah, and Tayler, son Tyler, brothers: Trent Tanney and Shaun Brown. And we cannot forget Lucifer, his cat!

Tyler's greatest legacy is the love he gave his family and the memories they created. Being a father was a great privilege to Tyler, and he never took time spent with his children for granted. Tyler's children were his greatest blessing, and he shared that fact with anyone that would listen. He was going to be a grandpa in March, and he was so excited to meet his grandson, Atlas. It saddens our hearts that he will miss this special milestone he looked so forward to.

Tyler will be remembered by his generous heart, his willingness to help (even strangers), his ability to make people laugh, his caring nature and his gift to gab that he proudly inherited from his late Grandpa, Richard Long Sr. Tyler loved talking to everyone! it did not matter if he knew them or not.

Although Tyler was an Ohio resident, he spent many years of his life in Florida and considered Florida home. He was an avid Florida Gators Football fan, which brought some fun rivalry to his Ohio family and friends. Tyler will be deeply missed by his co-workers, his family and several very close friends. The good Lord took him long before we could have imagined.
