Sue Thompson June 30, 1947 - July 2, 2024,

Born in Newark, Ohio as Sue Earleen Seaton. She was adopted at five years old by Beatrice and Larry Hanna. And at that time was renamed Sue Eileen Hanna. She lived a life giving, and receiving love, laughter, and as many hugs as she could.

Married for a short time to, now friend, Terry Clegg. They had daughter Candace. And enjoyed a friendship that helped formed the lives of Candace and her siblings.

She later married David Thompson April 1, 1970. They raised three children. She worked as a waitress at many places including The Village Kitchen in LaRue, Ohio. She also served as a notary and ambulance dispatcher while working with Stofcheck's, also in LaRue. And a Health Unit Coordinator at MGH, Marion, Ohio. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Her fun- loving nature kept her loved ones laughing and enjoying life to the fullest. She was often called the Lucy to their Ethel, and the Laverne to their Shirley. Even the smallest aspects of life was an adventure of hilarious proportions with her. She was always on the go cooking, cleaning, shopping and serving those she loved. "Are you hungry?", "Come eat something", and "What can I do to help?" Were three of her most spoken phrases.

She was preceded in death by her Mom Juanita Kreager, (Roe Kreager, step father), Father, Earl Seaton Sr. Adoptive parents Larry and Beatrice Hanna, Sister, Beverly (and Marion Shaffer),

She leaves behind her husband David A. Thompson. Children Candace Clegg, Kellie Coy, and David A. R. Thompson. Grandchildren Justin Clegg, Cassie (Juan Hartwell), Sydnie (Ryan Whiting), Samantha (Cameron DeBerry), Heath (Lindsey Coy), and Skyler Thompson. And many great and great-great grandchildren. And numerous friends she considered family.
