Stella M Murphy

Stella M Murphy, age 80 of Marion, OH passed away October 15, 2026, at Marion Valley Post Acute Nursing Home. She was born March 19, 1946, to the late Ellery Nicholes and Nana (McLaughlin) Keener in Clay County West Virginia. Stella was married to the late Jerry Murphy.

Stella is survived by children: Darius (Karen) Murphy, Jerry Murphy, Joseph Murphy, David Murphy, and Michael (Janet) Murphy, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and 17 siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and daughter Drema Kinard. 

Stella was a graduate from Widen High School in West Virginia then worked as a Dietary Aide at a Kenton, OH nursing home. She attended church regularly and enjoyed making it an important part of her life.
