Shane Alan Campbell
1-25-1963 - 3-9-2024
It is with broken hearts that we had to let go of our husband, son, father, brother, and friend. On March 9, 2024, Shane Alan Campbell finished his race and completed his journey to his eternal home in heaven.

Shane was born January 25, I963, the first child of Bruce Campbell and Charlotte Campbell Lehner, in Mt Gilead, Ohio. He met his wife Cynthia Seitz in 2009 and they were married Nov. 3, 2018 at the Blooming Grove United Methodist Church and shared 14 yrs together.

If you knew Shane, you knew he was the most caring man you had ever known, with a huge heart full of love and compassion, ready to accept you as you are. Not only did he love his own family but was empathetic to others needs and suffering and willing to help in any way to help ease their burden.

Shane had a big place in his heart for animals, wild and domestic and sought many times to rescue those unwanted or abandoned. Once having 40 head of cattle, his happy place was sitting on his tractor, simply watching his cows. He loved being outdoors, enjoying nature and snapping many pictures. He loved photographing his pets and flowers but above all, he loved pictures of his grandsons.

Shane suffered a Carotid Artery injury at the age of 4 and in spite of the damage, he pursued playing Baseball and ran Track and Cross Country. He was a record holder in Track for many years at Mt Gilead High School.

Music played a huge part in Shane's life and he loved a variety of genres. He was an old rocker, mellowed to enjoy new country rock as well as Christian music. He was comforted and moved by music and loved sharing his favorites with friends and family. Shane had a brilliant mind and connected on multiple levels of conversation and subjects.

Cherishing his memory, in addition to his wife Cynthia and mother, are his sons: Lorin (Raychel) Campbell of Mt Gilead, and Ethan (Amy Eulett )Seitz of Bucyrus. Daughters: Caela (Wade DeManche) Campbell of New Hampshire and Adrianne (Logan) Rothhaar of Bucyrus. Grandsons: Alexander (AJ) Campbell, Joel Green, Axton Agin, Leighton Agin, and Braxton Rothhaar.

Brothers: Sheldon (Stephanie) Campbell of Lexington, and Shannon Campbell of Iberia

Sisters: Shelley Campbell of Columbus and Shauna White of Marion.

Aunt Kathleen and Uncle Sam Darnell and Uncle Richard and Aunt Fabinetta James.

Shane had many nieces and nephews and was very close to his niece Alivea Campbell. He also leaves his fur babies, Annie, Archie and Ziggy.

Shane was preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents, Leona and Charles James, Paternal Grandparents, Alice and Nelson Campbell, Brother Shad Michael Campbell, Nephew Carson Campbell, Step father James Lehner, Aunts and Uncles, Jeannine and Bob Reed and Ramona and Carl Mercer, Cousin Doug Mercer and a special Uncle who he called “Cool” Uncle Warren.

He also had a very special dog Cleo, whom he loved and missed very much.
