Sandra L. Ridgeway

Sandra “Sandy” Lynn Ridgeway, 71, of Magnetic Springs, went to be with the Lord July 7, 2026. Sandy was born to the late Herman Schurig and Virginia Sadler March 12, 1955, in Detroit Michigan. Sandy married Robin Ridgeway October of 1978. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Darlene Schlack.

Sandy is survived by husband of 47 years Robin Ridgeway; children Craig Ridgeway, Bill (Rebecca) Sheridan, and Addie (Jeremy) Bredeweg; grandchildren, Craig’s daughter Raven, Bill’s children, Jake, Ben, and Luke; Addie’s son, Vladi; brother Bob (Kathy) Schurig; and fur babies Atlas and Angel.

Sandy enjoyed playing Bingo, doing puzzles, and playing cards with friends. She loved visiting friends, she was a socialite, visiting the fairs, hosting yard sales and going to them. Through the years Sandy and Robin would also go to flea markets, auctions, and garden together. She spent most of her time with her family, being a good wife, and mother to her family. She will be missed by all that knew her.

The family invites friends and family to a celebration of life service Celebration of life service, Saturday, July 25th at 11AM at Magnetic Springs Methodist Church, 113 Olive Street Magnetic Springs Ohio 43036. Friends can come an hour prior at 10AM to visit with family. There will be food served after the service at the church. Pastor Karl Haught is officiating services.
