Ronald Eugene Gibson

Ronald Eugene Gibson, age 84 of Marion, OH passed away June 26, 2026, at Marion General Hospital. He was born June 20, 1942, to the late Richard Cloyce and Bonita Ruth (Crissinger) Gibson in Marion. Ronald was married June 21, 1963, to the late Shirley Ann (Gooden) Gibson. 

Ronald is survived by nephew Richard Gibson of Marion and half sister Peggy Detra of Marion. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers, one sister, and one half sister.

Ronald graduated high school then continued his education by earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree. He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam, and worked as a Contractor with the Army writing the manuals for the M1 Tanks and Patriot Defense System. Ronald enjoyed fishing, camping, and his dogs.
