Robert L Jones

Robert L Jones, age 71 of Marion, OH passed away October 5, 2026, at his home. He was born May 8, 1955, to the late Howard and Phyllis (Cook) Jones in Marion. Robert was married February 18, 2004, to Sherry Jones, who still survives in Marion. 

Robert is survived by his wife, children: Candy (Shawn) Stacy of Marion, Christopher (Stephanie) Jones of Marion, Casey (Trisha) Jones of Oregon, and Brett (Tina) Heth of Grove City, 17 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and siblings: Tim (Sandy) Jones of La Rue, Linda Apgar of Marion, and Gloria Cottrill of Kenton. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert worked as a boiler operator in maintenance at Central Soya for over 30 years, then retired after 20 years from Goodyear. He enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting baseball cards, loved spending time with his family; especially his grandkids, and adored going to, and everything about, Disney.
