Patricia Ann Browning

Patricia “Ann” Browning, 77 of Edison passed away on Tuesday September 1, 2026, at home. Ann was born January 11, 1949, in Aflex, Kentucky to the late Carl and Helen (Thompson) Compton. She was married April 22, 1972, to Howard K. Browning Jr. who preceded her in death in November 1998. Ann was also preceded in death by brother Gene Compton and sisters Catherine Hay, Deborah Fischer, Barb Hall, and Cheryl Trent.

Ann is survived by son Kelly (Vicki) Browning of Marion and daughter Marla (Kyle) Gladman of Galion; grandchildren McKinley Browning, Kyla (Andrew) Brown, and Anthony Gladman; brothers Bobby, Danny, and Jim Compton; sisters Wanda Markis, Sheila Marsh, and Brenda Merrow; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ann retired from Core Systems in Mt. Gilead. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds at the house, doing puzzles, watching the Hallmark Channel, and most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.

Grief never ends…
