Matilda M Dyer

Matilda M Dyer, age 76 of Kenton, OH passed away December 5, 2024, at home. She was born July 14, 1948, to the late Earl C Bopp and Josie (Gibson) Bopp in Kenton.

Matilda is survived by daughters: Lori (Gary) McKean of Kenton, Holly Marling of Kenton, and Meggan Dyer of Kenton, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and brother William Bopp of Johnstown. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Christopher Bopp, daughter Melissa Bopp, brother Michael Bopp, and sisters: Patricia Wieder and Deborah Mendenhall.

Matilda earned an Associate degree from Rhodes University and was a social worker for the WIC Program for 30 years. She was a member of Abundant Life Assembly Church in Kenton, enjoyed swimming and the outdoors, was a fan of the Cleveland Guardians, Ohio State, and the Kenton Wildcats.
