Marion was a man who truly never met a stranger. He had a rare gift for conversation and would gladly talk to anyone, turning brief encounters into lasting friendships. His smile was a permanent fixture, and his humor was a constant source of comfort and delight to his family and friends. To be in his presence was to be surrounded by lightheartedness and joy.

Among his greatest passions was his love for playing cards and model cars. Between fun times at the card table he found great joy in the quiet patience of building model cars, meticulously bringing every miniature detail to life, spending time with family; he could talk for hours on end, sharing stories, telling jokes, and never knew a stranger. Marion loved playing his lottery tickets, going fishing, watching westerns, collecting western memorabilia, listening to Johnny Cash, and watching John Wayne movies. He spent his 79 years making the world a brighter place, teaching everyone around him the value of good company, a good joke, and a life well-lived. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

There will be a Celebration of Life service planned for a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association in his honor. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.cremationservicesofohio.com.
