Margaret M Chesser

Margaret M Chesser, age 85 of Marion, OH passed away October 16, 2025, at Marion General Hospital. She was born March 6, 1940, to the late Earl and Mary (Davis) Armstrong in Marion. 

Margaret is survived by daughter Becky Yaeger of Marion and brother Rolly Armstrong of FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons: James Chesser and Timothy Chesser, brother Roger Armstrong, and step sister Joanne Lorenzo.

Margaret attended Marion Enterprise Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She also worked as a home health aide and drove bus for the Marion Senior Center. Margaret was a member of Moose Lodge #889 and American Legion Auxiliary Post 162, both of Marion. She was very active, always being the "life of the party". She really enjoyed dancing and playing darts. Margaret had a soft spot for butterflies and anything butterfly shaped.

Calling hours will be Wednesday October 22, 2025, at Marion Enterprise Baptist Church (130 Orton St. Marion, OH 43302) from 11-1 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Marion Enterprise Baptist Church.
