Margaret K Canterbury

Margaret K Canterbury, age 72 of Marion, OH passed away April 21, 2026, at Marion Rehabilitation Nursing Home. She was born January 14, 1954, to the late Richard and Melba (Leeper) Snare in Marion. 

Margaret is survived by daughter Rebecca Canterbury of Marion, son Danny Canterbury of Marion, grandchildren: Donny Canterbury, Chevy Canterbury, and Madison Canterbury, eight great-grandchildren, and brother Greg Snare. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Donnie Canterbury, and brother Tim Snare.

Margaret graduated high school then earned her LPN license; she worked as a nurse for over 20 years. She was a hard worker and a little head strong, as well as caring and giving; all the qualities that make a wonderful nurse. She enjoyed camping and loved hanging out with her grandkids. Margaret had a good heart and will be dearly missed.

The family wanted to extend a special Thank You to Marion Rehabilitation, especially Kayla and Shy, for taking great care of their Margaret.
