Lori Ray Hummel

Lori Ray Hummel, age 57, passed away at Ohio State University Hospital July 10, 2026. Lori was born to the late Stan Jordan and Delores (Owens) Jordan November 9, 1968, in Marion, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her mom and dad of Marion, her sisters, Jennifer Cole of Alabama and Pam Faivre of Illinois, her niece who she raised Jennifer (Jo) Jordan of Marion and her beloved son Jordan Pierce of Marion.

Lori leaves behind her 5 children, and many grandchildren, Samantha (Kyle) Stewart of Bellefontaine, Lucas Pierce, Charlie Hummel Jr., Zachary Thomas, Devon Hummel all of La Rue, Ohio; grandchildren, Austin Stewart, Bentley Stewart, Peyton Pierce, Weston Pierce, Piper Hummel, and Vivian Hummel of Marion; her fur babies Diamond and Princess who she dearly loved; and her best friend who never left her side, Roberta Blythe.

Lori was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes' fan and Cleveland Browns' fan. She enjoyed collecting knickknacks, especially Mickey Mouse collectibles. She enjoyed coloring, doing puzzles, and reading books. Her family was the most important thing to her and loved them dearly, babysitting her grandson and attending their sporting events. She will be missed by all that knew her.
