Linda Meddles

In memory: Linda "Jeanie" Meddles passed away June 20, 2025, at Marion Pointe Nursing Home. She was born October 20, 1947, to the late Charley and Martha "Ellen" (Herrod) Shepherd in Warsaw, IN. Linda married the late Ronald Pearl Meddles on August 13, 1981.

Linda is survived by son Jerry Lynn (Mel) Shepherd of Marion, daughter Robin Price of Illinois, granddaughters: Brooke Shepherd of Florida and Samantha Bernardo of Marion, brothers: Charles "Chuck" (Jodi) Shepherd, Billy Lee Shepherd, Charles "Ed" (Debbie) Shepherd, and John Bolen, sisters: Connie Sue Boggs, Karen M (Teri) Shepherd, Donna Rae Lines, Micki (Ken) Adams, and Lori Bolen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, siblings: Evelee Lines, John Shepherd, Donald Shepherd, Ronald Paul Shepherd, Earl Shepherd, Sharon L Shepherd, Lisa Harshfield, and Marsha Sue Bolen Fogale. 

Linda was a high school graduate and worked as a welder for Marion Shovel. Her favorite sayings were, "And?", as well as "Whatever". Her song was "Last Kiss". Linda loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Guardians, fishing and camping.

The family would like to give a special Thank You To Judy Law for always making sure Jeanie was kept in line. As well as to all the staff at Marion Pointe Nursing Home, Hospice nurses and aides.

There will be a Celebration of Life Dinner Friday, June 27, 2025, from 6-8 pm, at the VFW #3313, 961 N Main St. Marion, OH 43302. All family and friends are welcome to join us and share wonderful memories of Jeanie!
