Jaunita Hobby, age 85 of Marion, OH passed away May 31, 2026, at Marion General Hospital. She was born October 10, 1940, to the late Noah and Alma (Litterall) Keeton in Marion County, OH. Jaunita was married to the late Johnny Hobby.

Jaunita is survived by children: Amanda (James) Jurgens, Michael Finney, Shelly Finney, Becky Finney, and Debbie Finney, grandchildren: Devin Esquia and Brittany White, great-grandchildren: Nolan and Baker, siblings: Noah Keeton Jr, Anneda, and Theresa, niece Lori Stark as well as many more nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters: Loreda, Buneda, Donna, and Mary Linda. 

Jaunita worked as a technician in the telecommunications industry. She was a member of the Allegria Organization (a ladies organization involved with the Gaspirilla Parades in Tampa, FL)  and enjoyed cooking, cross stitching, gardening (especially flowers), crafts/craft shows, entertaining, being involved with golf leagues and tournaments, and the company of her cats. 

Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
