Josephine Lopez Rosas, age 85, passed away peacefully at Altercare of Bucyrus surrounded by family July 22, 2023. Josephine was born to Joe and Teresa (Lopez) Vasquez March 7, 1938 in San Antonio Texas. Josephine is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Theodore Rosas; son, Agustine Zertuche; grandson, TJ Garcia; brother, Ynez Aguilar and sister, Celia; son-in-law Dale Cranston.
Josephine is survived by children, Gilbert (Margaret) Rocamontes, Cathy Cranston, Sandra (Vern) Zornes, Sylvia (Robert) Espinoza, Juanita (Fortunato Estrada) Garcia, and John Garcia; brother, Joe Wilson of Texas; sister, Jeannitta Church of Galion Ohio; 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren all from Ohio and Texas as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Josephine had lived in Marion, Mansfield, and most recently she was a resident of Altercare of Bucyrus since December 28, 2022. She loved all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very dearly. She enjoyed doing word puzzle books, coloring books with her gel pens, sewing, loved her TV show’s family feud, Wheel of Fortune, and Law and Order. She would remind the family about what happened on her shows daily.
There will be a private graveside committal at Marion Cemetery. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.cremationservicesofohio.com .
