Jimmy Rex Parker

Jimmy Rex Parker, age 64, passed away March 17, 2026, after a long hard fight with cancer at the Meadows of Marion. Jimmy was born to the late James and Marian (Bailey) Parker March 19, 1961, in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and sister Edra Riel.

Jimmy is survived by his children: Aaron Parker, Amanda Parker, Josh(Jessica) Parker, Ashley Skiles, and Brian Parker; siblings: Barb Parker, Terry Parker, Ladd Parker, Sandy Parker, Tony Parker, Paul Parker, & Gerri (Lewis) Parker, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, & nephews. He also leaves behind several grandchildren & a great-grandchild. Last, but not least, he leaves behind his very spoiled fur baby Mya.

Through the years Jimmy enjoyed playing his guitar, going fishing, playing cards & Yahtzee. He enjoyed tinkering around the garage; as well as taking in whatever life had to offer. He wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty and help with whatever needed done. Whether it was as big as remodeling an entire house or landscaping an entire yard, to something as small as helping trim and weed whip someone's lawn. He rolled his sleeves up to help get the job done. He will be deeply missed by the ones who truly loved him.
