James Michael Meade

James Michael "Mike" Meade, age 69 of Marion, OH passed away October 20, 2025, at Morrow County Hospital. He was born August 19, 1956, to the late James C and Darlene (Carroll) Meade in Grayson KY. He was married to the late Sarah Meade.

James is survived by nephews: Jason Kerns and Joshua Meade, niece Breanna Meade, several great nieces and nephews, sister Terri Tyree, and brother Kevin (Dana) Meade. 

James graduated high school and attended Marion Technical College, then worked as the shop manager for Nucor Steel in Marion. He was involved in the Moose of Marion, enjoyed playing softball, racquetball, and going bowling. James was independent and strong-willed. He was also an avid Cleveland Browns' fan and liked watching sports on TV.
