Jack Lee Stidam went to be with his Lord and Savior the morning of April 8, 2026, at 79 years old. Born on earth to Margaret Bright August 13, 1946, in Milford Center, OH.

Jack married the love of his life Lana Hunt Stidam June of 1979, and resided in Marion where they raised two boys: Scott and Chad Malone. He was a devoted member of State Street Community Church and lived his life dedicated to serving the Lord, known for his strong faith by all.

Jack played and loved sports and music. He played basketball in high school, Richwood class of 1964, where he was offered to play Division 1 ball after graduating. Life took him to the United States Army where he served in Vietnam. Jack continued playing basketball with his boys and neighbor kids to whom he gave no mercy. He did give mercy later, while playing with his grandson. Jack played on many adult softball leagues over the years as well as the 50 and over leagues.

Jack had a passion for music and enjoyed playing guitar, playing with family members and long time friend Curt Higgins. Their band "The Heartland Gospel", played at churches and nursing homes where he met many friends and enjoyed sharing the love of Jesus with them. Jack will be dearly missed by many.

Jack is survived by his brother, Jerry Bright, sister, Debbie Bright, daughters-in-law, Angie Baker and Connie Allen, (lovingly known as daughter) grandchildren, Joshua (Kelly) Malone, Jacob Malone, Sami Shanklin and Ben Kandel, great-grandchildren, Trynadee, Brynden, Jax, Madyx, Raegan Jo, Asher Malone, and Leighton Kandel as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Bright, wife, Lana Stidam, children Scott Malone and Chad Malone, brother, Eddie Bright, sister, Sharon Richardson and grandson, Anthony (Tony) Malone.

There will be a Celebration of Life Saturday April 25, 2026, at State Street Community Church, 821 N. State Street Marion, OH 43302 starting at 11am. Following to Chapel Heights Cemetery, 2622 Marion Upper Sandusky Road Marion, OH 43302. Then we will meet back at Marion Enterprise Baptist Church, 130 Orton street Marion, OH 43302, for a meal and fellowship.
