Harry John Knott

Harry John Knott, age 74 of Mt. Gilead, OH passed away June 4, 2025, at Woodside Village in Mt. Gilead. He was born March 4, 1951, to the late Harry and Pansey Knott in Philadelphia, PA. Harry was married to Marlena (VanSickle) Knott, who still survives in Marion. 

Harry is survived by his wife, stepdaughter Tina (Wilbur) Osborne of Marion, OH, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and sisters: Nan Fenner from MI, Maria Plasterer from MI, and Charlene Knott from MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Christopher Kapala, and brother Dewey Knott.   

Harry was a high school graduate and served in the United States Marine Corps. in Vietnam. He was self-employed as a contractor and always kept busy working. He enjoyed watching TV and being around horses and cats.
