Gregory “Greg” Fowler, age 64, passed away on June 16, 2025. He was born April 9, 1961, in New Castle, Indiana to Beverly Peacock-Fowler of Connersville, Indiana.
Greg was a graduate of Connersville High School with the class of 1979. Greg pursued a carrier as as a sound and audio engineer in the music industry. He spent his early days in Nashville and spent many years as an audio engineer for Gateway Church in South Lake, Texas until he went to work for ESPN. Greg traveled the world as an audio engineer and was blessed to witness many beautiful things thanks to his career. His later days were spent being an independent contractor until he retired June of 2024. Greg had a deep love for his family and music. He enjoyed playing the guitar and reading in his free time.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Woodall-Fowler of Marion, Ohio; his mother, Beverly Peacock-Fowler of Connersville, Indiana; his aunt, Terri Stevens of Connersville, Indiana; his brother, Craig Alan Fowler of Tennessee; his sons, Andrew (Katie) Barrett of Indianapolis, Indiana and Alex Fowler of Columbus, Ohio; his daughters Alyssa Fowler and Natalie Fowler both of Columbus, Ohio; his step sons, Jacob (Katie) Frew and Jarod (Jill) Frew, both of Newark, Ohio and step daughter, Sallie (Jeff) Maloney also of Newark, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Felix, George, Olivia, Savannah, Luke, Noah, Maverick.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Peacock of Connersville, Indiana.pm
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday June 29, 2025 at 2pm at Faith United Methodist Church 261 E. Main St. Newark, OH 43055
