Gae E VanVlerah

Gae "Gaylord" Edward VanVlerah, 69, of Marion, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on October 11, 2025.

He was born in Marion, Ohio to Francis (Blanton) VanVlerah and Paul VanVlerah. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne VanVlerah, and his two brothers, Henry (Hank) VanVlerah and Jeff VanVlerah.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Vargo and Toni VanVlerah Sands and his sons-in-law Shawn Sands and Jeremy Kitts. He had three grandchildren — Memphis, Seth, and Samantha — and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Penny (Steve) Allen and Chris VanVlerah.

A private family service will be held to honor his life.
