Edna Wilkin

Edna Wilkin, 93, of Powell, Ohio, formerly of Tallmadge, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2026, at StoryPoint South Senior Living in Powell, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on February 4, 1933, in Catbalogan, Philippines, she was the youngest daughter of the late Henry and Ignacia (Billones) Kruse. On May 2, 1968, Edna married Robert E. Wilkin, Sr., who preceded her in death on August 21, 2014. She was also preceded in death by 14 siblings.

Edna will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and warm personality. She loved traveling with her husband and family, enjoyed cooking, and delighted in hosting gatherings filled with laughter and joy. An active and energetic woman, she found great enjoyment in bowling, playing tennis, and golfing well into her later years.

She is lovingly survived by her children: Richard (Christine) Wilkin of Chandler, Arizona; Kym (Kurt) Jackson of Green, Ohio; Robert (Stacey) Wilkin Jr. of Powell, Ohio; Donna Campbell of Pittsburg, Kansas; and Robin (John) Hinman of Lawrence, Kansas. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren—Robby, Heather, McKenzie, Morgan, and Madison—as well as several great-grandchildren. A devoted homemaker, Edna relocated to the Powell area four years ago after many years in Tallmadge.
