Born to Sabra Violet Howard and Ollie Perry, Dwight was a beacon of strength and joy to all who knew him. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, grandparents, and siblings, but his spirit continues to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Dwight was blessed with a close-knit family and is survived by his cherished son, Joseph Perry, and daughter-in-law, Lisa. His granddaughter, Hanna Perry, was the apple of his eye, and he took immense pride in being her grandfather. For the last 20 years, Dwight shared his life with his significant other, Linda Needels. Together, they created countless memories filled with camping trips, travel adventures, and shared laughter that lit up their lives.

As a dedicated Union Carpenter for Local 735, Dwight worked tirelessly and retired in 2005, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment. His colleagues remember him as a skilled craftsman who approached every task with precision and passion.

Dwight was an avid fisherman who found peace and joy in the great outdoors. Whether it was boating, camping, or simply spending time by the lake, he cherished the tranquility and beauty of nature. A devoted fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Dwight's enthusiasm for the team was infectious, bringing friends and family together to share in his excitement.

His selflessness and willingness to support those around him made him a beloved figure in his community.
