Debra Jane (McMahon) Brown, age 68, passed away surrounded by love on June 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Debra is remembered for her love of bingo and bowling, her good cooking and someone who fought through many challenges in her life.
Debra treasured watching her son Kory play sports before his passing in 2003. She enjoyed camping and shared this with her sons Tyler and Gabriel from a young age, camping at several places including Catawba Island at Lake Erie. She finally purchased a seasonal site at her “happy place”, Hickory Grove Campground, where she spent 30 years and came to consider everyone there as family. She deeply loved spending time with her grandchildren, and they always loved visiting her. She was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes' and Cleveland Browns' fan. On a lighter note, Debra loved her Pepsi and PJs.
She is survived by her sons, Tyler (Destiny Covey) Shirk and Gabriel (Sarah Magana) Shirk; her grandchildren, Konner Shirk and Skyleona Shirk; her siblings, Bev Kandel, Connie (Matt) Haller, Bud (Paula) McMahon, Clancy (Christy) McMahon Jr. of Richwood, and Bobbie Jo (James) Allinder of Prospect; and many nieces and nephews, including special nieces: Brandi Regal, Kami Kandel, and Randi Jo Campos. She was preceded in death by her son, Kory Keigley; her father, Clancy McMahon Sr.; her stepmother, Linda McMahon; her mother, Marilyn (Pete) McCalla; and her sister, Lori Skeens.
Debra will be laid to rest at the foot of her son Kory at Claibourne Cemetery in Richwood, Ohio. The family will hold a memorial service in honor of Debra at a later date.
