David Andrew Short

David Andrew Short, age 45 of Marion, OH passed away August 4, 2023, at Marion General Hospital. He was born December 21, 1977, to the late Robert Lee Short and Patricia Ann Emerson in Bucyrus, OH.
David is survived by sons: Anthony Short and Clayton Short, daughters: Mollie Short, Lillie Short, and Caylie Short, siblings: Chuck Short and James Meadows, stepsiblings: Becky “Lane” Williams and Jack Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents.
David grew up in LaRue, OH where he had many friends and family members. He laid block most of his life and loved masonry. David enjoyed fishing, cooking, and keeping a tidy home. He loved his children and longed to be with them. His home in Lakeview was very special to him. David enjoyed art, the outdoors, and music. He had a wonderfully dramatic personality that drew people to him. He will be dearly missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Indian Lake Nazarene Church pavilion, 13699 St. Rt. 235, Lakeview, OH 43331, at 5 pm.
