Charles M Yost

Charles M Yost, age 78 of Delaware, OH passed away April 25, 2026, at his home. He was born February 3, 1948, to the late Charles R and Lois (Knotts) Yost in Delaware. Charles was married to the late Pam Yost.

Charles is survived by daughter Lisa (Shaun) Zieg of Ashley, OH, sons: Jamie Yost of Radnor, OH, Eric Hayes of Mt. Vernon, OH, and Brian Hayes of Delaware, OH, his dear friend Georgia Ewing, eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and brother Jack (Mary jo) Yost of Nelsonville, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and brother Dale Yost.

Charles graduated high school then served in the United States Army during Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart for sacrifice and bravery. He then worked as a truck driver for Direct Services, as well as driving passenger buses for FLEX in Delaware. One of Charles' favorite ways to spend time was riding horses.

A memorial service will be held Saturday May 2, 2026, at Radnor United Church, 4407 State Route 203 Radnor, OH 43066, beginning at 12pm. Expressions of sympathy may be left online at www.affordablecremationservicesofohio.com.
