Barbara L Adams

Barbara L Adams, age 77 of Marion, OH passed away April 23, 2026, at Marion General Hospital. She was born February 24, 1949, to the late William G and Doris E (Boteler) Bock in Baltimore, MD. She was married for almost 50 years to the late William Adams.

Barbara is survived by daughter Michelle (Buffy Bay) Adams of Marion, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sister Renee Luedtke, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, the father that raised her Vernon Boteler, and brothers: Stevan F Bock and Steve W "Herky" Bock.

Barbara graduated from high school then worked in a Pediatric office at the Smith clinic as a receptionist for 30 years. She was very passionate about being a child advocate. Barbara also worked at Oakwood Elementary School helping children with disabilities. She was a caring, loving person who enjoyed family and loved to laugh. 

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
