Amanda Nicole Himler, age 36 of Marion, OH passed away October 18, 2025, at OSU Medical Center. She was born July 2, 1989, to Tim and Stephanie (Ward) Himler in Marion.
Amanda is survived by her parents, son Bentley Himler, daughter Ryleigh Allen, maternal grandparents: Karen and Steve Ward, paternal grandparents: Frank and Judy Himler, sister Danielle (Kyle) Tanner, as well as other extended family members.
Amanda graduated from River Valley High School, then worked as a 3rd generation truck driver (had been to all 48 states), a prison guard for MCI, and worked also for the Zoo, Menards, and Giant Eagle. She was involved with the Pleasant Lion's Club, 4-H, Boy Scouts, I Wish for Prom Organization (high school), earned the title "Beef Queen" from beef industry/fair, Music Boosters, band, musicals, Women's Trucker Association, and was an organ donor. Her bright soul will be dearly missed.
Calling hours will be November 2, 2025, from 1:30-2:30 pm at Dayspring Wesleyan Church (2431 Marion-Mt. Gilead Rd. Marion, OH 43302), memorial service beginning at 2:30 pm, followed by a meal. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.affordablecremationservicesofohio.com.
