Tommy J Hunt, age77, of Marion, Ohio, passed away 05/05/2022 at Marion General Hospital in Marion. He was born November 10, 1944, to the late Edgar Hunt and Pearl (Tackett) Hunt in Floyd County, Kentucky. Tommy is survived by his companion of 28 years, Kerry Martin, 2 sons: Troy (Debby) Hunt from Prospect, Ohio, Todd Hunt (Melissa Fitch) from Marion, Ohio, a daughter, Jamie Gentry, 7 grandchildren: Kayla (Tommy) Salmons, Jacob (Katie) Hunt, Hayden Hunt, Maddox Hunt, Brooke (Jon) Sutherin, Spencer Hunt, Autumn Hunt, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers: John (Sharon) Hunt, Windell (Margie) Hunt, and brother-in-law, Leo Gilliam. He was preceded in death by a son, Travis J Hunt, brothers and sisters: Ralph Hunt, Margaret Gilliam, Sue McCloud, Lola Hunt, and Randy Hunt. Tommy worked at Tecumseh as a machine operator and Foreman, then retired in maintenance from Marion Area Counseling Center. He spent his life raising horses and attending to the farm chores, vegetable gardening, taking drives in the country, playing Euchre, and enjoying his special friend, Josie the dog. There will be a Celebration of Life service with Tom Beckel speaking on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 7:00 pm at FOP 5327 Harding Highway E Caledonia, Ohio 43314.
